One day to go for the Flintlab crowdfunder

With just one day to go till our Flintlab crowdfunder ends, we’re asking anyone who’s still thinking about supporting our local coworking and office space to do it now!

Pledges start at £5 with a donation or you can take up one of our crowdfunder offers. These include a set of six fun Flintlab stickers for pledges of £14 and a choice of one of three art prints – designed by the creatives at Wonderstuff – for pledges of £24, right up to half a day of brand and design consultancy with Wonderstuff for pledges of £350.

“We know there are a lot of demands on people right now, and we are really grateful for the fantastic amount of support that Flintlab has received already,” said Paul Alderson, director of Wonderstuff Group.

“Achieving our first crowdfunding target ensured we could create a more contactless entrance and exit, develop our desks into ‘pods’ to enable video meetings without disturbing co-workers, and improve our outdoor space for more year-round use.

“We also gained £5,000 of match funding through Crowdfund North East LEP, which is helping small businesses to keep trading by pre-selling goods and services during the Covid-19 crisis.

“This extra funding and all the money we raise through our stretch crowdfunding target, now set at £10,000, will enable us to improve the space further, undertaking renovations and repairs to the meeting room and external roof.”

Flintlab opened in Gosforth 18 months ago to provide an affordable and flexible place to work. It soon became a hub of local, independent businesses and won an award. Coworking at Flintlab is a great way to be productive for independent business owners, writers, developers and creatives.
