Brand identity, packaging and launch materials for a new brewery.


Having developed his business concept within the Entrepreneurial Spark incubator programme, Paul Hughes contacted us to discuss his requirements for developing the brand, visual identity and packaging for his brewery in readiness for launch.


Paul wanted the brewery to be positioned amongst the new craft breweries, but be clearly distinct from them in offering a more traditional set of beers that spoke of heritage flavours and tried and tested brewery techniques.


As a start-up we had to be resourceful in the use of budget, so recommended a brand sprint to define his brand. With his vision defined and a chosen name in place – Black Storm Brewery, we progressed to developing the visual identity, copywriting, packaging, livery and launch materials.
