ART X SPORT

Bringing art and sport together in 2022 to celebrate the Rugby League World Cup

In October 2022 Wonderstuff organised ART X SPORT to celebrate the Rugby League World Cup and raise funds for Newcastle Rugby Foundation.

Each Steeden rugby ball was brought to life by an artist through their own style to create a vibrant set of artworks. These were then auctioned online.

A Collaborative Art Project to raise funds to support Newcastle Rugby Foundation

Paul Alderson, founder of Wonderstuff, created a Wonderstuff’s second art event to bring together artists and support a local charity. ART X SPORT featured some of the North Easts, and UK’s, most exciting artists.

Supported By

The event was sponsored and supported by businesses including, WoeMan, Steeden, and The Biscuit Factory.

MEET THE ARTISTS

Our incredible artists have all given their time and talent to support this project. We’re always overwhelmed by the support our artists give to our projects, and to helping others.

Take a look at each artist, follow them, and bid for your favourite ball. All for a good cause.
